Do 15 Minutes of Cardio Activity Everyday


The whole purpose of this challenge is to increase your heart rate, exercise your heart muscles, and build your endurance. Cardio exercises are very important to keep your heart strong and healthy. They also help lower your cholesterol, burn fat, and reduces your risk of getting heart disease. Please keep in mind to choose an exercise that you are comfortable with and also practice warming up, stretching, and cooling down for these activities. Always make sure you are properly hydrated during these activities and carry sufficient water with you.

CAUTION: People with existing medical conditions especially those related to heart should be careful before taking this challenge and consult their doctors.

Here are some exercises that will boost your heart rate.
    . Hiking in places with hills.
Don't over stress yourself or over exert yourself. Know your physical and medical conditions and choose your exercises accordingly.

The Weekly Health Challenge is a self-audited program designed to motivate the JCSC Wellness participants in reducing BMI on a weekly basis.

How it works:
1. Each week there will be a new health challenge. You can accept the challenge by accepting the pledge for each challenge. You can only accept a challenge from midnight on Sunday to midnight on Tuesday.

2. At the end of the week, you can declare if you have completed the challenge. You can only mark a challenge as completed from midnight on Sunday to midnight on Tuesday.

3. Every week, the participants that complete the challenge will be recognized on this page.
