Do 15 Minutes of Cardio Activity Everyday



This week we challenge you to do a 15 minute cardio activity everyday. Wait just 15 minutes? Yes, 15 minutes of cardio a day increases your heart rate, helps exercise your heart muscles, and builds your endurance. Cardio exercises are very important to keep your heart strong and healthy. They also help lower your cholesterol, burn fat, and reduces your risk of getting heart disease. Please keep in mind to choose and exercise to exercises that you are comfortable with. Practice warming up, stretching, and cooling down for these activities. Also make sure you are properly hydrated during these activities and carry sufficient water with you.
CAUTION: People with existing medical conditions especially those related to the heart should be careful before taking this challenge and should consult their doctors.

Here are some exercises that will help boost your heart rate!
  • Brisk walking (walking faster than usual)
  • Biking (stationary cycling)
  • Hiking in places with hills
  • Low-impact aerobics
  • Light Jogging
  • Dancing
  • Swimming
  • Tai Chi
  • Yoga


    Jog with friends or family, 15 minutes will go by fast!
